Bee Safe Neighborhood Workshop- Louisville

  • Louisville Public Library 951 Spruce Street Louisville, CO 80027 United States

Are you interested in making your neighborhood (and maybe the whole city of Louisville) bee safe? That means neighbors talking to neighbors about getting rid of pesticides, to create an environment that is heathy for the bees, healthy for us, and healthy for the earth! Join us on Thursday, February 25th for a Bee Safe Neighborhood Workshop!

Featured in this event will be Bee Safe David Wheeler, who will be leading a presentation on how to make YOUR neighborhood bee safe and who will be discussing why the Bee Safe Neighborhood movement is so important. Handouts, pledge forms, neighborhood maps, and other canvassing materials will be distributed.

The cities of Boulder and Lafayette, as well as Boulder County as a whole, have all passed Bee and Pollinator Safe resolutions in 2015. It would be fantastic to add Louisville to the list! Please join in and learn how to create bee safe neighborhoods and ensure a healthier future for our bee friends and ourselves.
